Compare the food you buy!

The main way for big businesses to attract you as a customer is to push down prices. But what are you - or rather your child - getting for your money?

We did a comparison to make it easier for you as a parent to make the right choice. We compared three of our popular meals with all similar products made for children from 6-10 months. The comparison was made on the Swedish market in September 2023. Here are the results:

How much salmon is in the meal?

When you buy a meal with salmon for your child, you probably expect there to be plenty of salmon in it. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. Our Salmon & Quinoa meal contains 68% more salmon than the average of all other salmon dishes and it has 47% more protein.

Our meal contains 15g of salmon and 4.4g of protein per 100g. Compared products had 8.5-10.4 g of salmon and 2.8-3.3 g of protein per 100 g. A majority of the compared products had water as the main ingredient.

If you choose our pasta bolognese, you get 97% more ground beef and 141% more protein compared to the average of all other pasta bolognese on the Swedish market.

Our pasta bolognese contains 15% beef and 7.0g protein per 100g. Other brands contain 5-10% beef and 1.5-3.7g protein per 100g.

How much chicken is in the baby food?

Chicken meat is a good raw material with high nutritional values. So it's good if there's plenty of chicken in the baby food you buy, especially if it has chicken in the name. When we compared our Chicken & Apple meal with similar products, we found that on average our meal contains more than twice as much chicken and protein than the others.

Our chicken & apple meal contains 17% KRAV-labeled chicken and 6.2 g protein per 100 g. Other chicken dishes on the market contain 5-10% chicken and 2.4-3.1g protein per 100g.
